Challenge Island—a high-energy educational STEAM program for elementary school kids—is seeking a creative, self-driven Part-Time Sales & Growth Marketing Lead .

This is a hands-on sales, social media, and outreach role focused on building local relationships, managing digital promotion, and driving bookings for our elementary STEM field trips, after-school program, and summer field trips.

This role offers a flexible schedule, modest base pay with uncapped booking bonuses, total creative freedom, and real marketing and revenue metrics to rebuild your resume or portfolio. Ideal for career returners or marketers looking for high-impact experience.

Key Responsibilities

• School & Community Outreach: Make calls and build direct relationships with elementary school principals, PTA/PTO leaders, and community directors to pitch and sell field trips and programs.
• Social Media & Content Marketing: Plan, create, and execute engaging social media posts (Facebook, Instagram) and digital promotional content targeting local parents and schools.
• Creative Campaigns: Brainstorm out-of-the-box marketing ideas—from flyer distributions to newsletter features—to build brand awareness and support your sales pipeline.
• Pipeline & Results Tracking: Maintain outreach logs, track social engagement, and monitor booking conversions to demonstrate portfolio impact.

Who You Are

• Career Returner or Portfolio Builder: Seeking flexible, hands-on experience in sales, digital marketing, and business development with true project ownership.
• Strong Communicator & Marketer: Comfortable picking up the phone to pitch decision-makers, as well as crafting sharp social media graphics and copy.
• Self-Starter: Energetic, organized, and excited about youth STEAM education.
